I am wondering if any of you are familiar with his poems? In his published collected works, his poems are mostly short, like Kooser's.
Sund is one of our best Pacific Northwest poets. In his early poems in the collection, he writes about his time working in the wheat fields and life in a small cabin at Shi Shi on Washington's wilderness coast.
As one who loves the great outdoors and especially the open sky country, I really love Sund's poems.
