No details yet. They've got to come up with them before I can post them. But...it's a good time to begin thinking about choosing a good story to submit.
It's palpable.
That hurts to look at. I'm evaluating stories. I always submit (and get rejected). I'm sure they would miss the chance to reject me if I didn't submit.

I think I know which one I'm gonna go with. I haven't sent it out anywhere yet, 'cause it still needs more work. Plenty of time, though.

What's a ChiZine? How can one write about leisure as a short story. Liesure takes time and many words to describe. What are the contest details?
I may be burying a bone or a tresure by the time these details become known. What am I to do with my time between time?

I"m going to enlist y'all as critters when I finish the really icky, squicky ss I'm wailing on right now. And I mean squicky. Does the mag have limits (other than, I assume, no erotica)?
I'm sure they do, as far as word count, etc. But we're going to have to wait for the official word from them--coming to you later this month.

I just have to day look at the frenzy you created! There's been such activity on the SYW board, and so many awesome flash pieces. THis was a blast!
I subscribed to the mag yesterday and got issue 2. Will have to spend some time checking it out over the week.

First squicky draft complete! This one wouldn't let me go. Um... that's not necessarily a good thing.
I'm going to spend all night on this and post tonight or tomorrow in SYW. Fair warning: lots of gore, lots of squick and a smidge of naughty bits.
I'm going to ask opinions on the ending too. I think it's okay as-is, and a one-sentence "epilogue-thingy" would be in a POV shift. But I'm not sure. I like people to imagine what the next logical, horrible step(s) would be.
And after this, my vampire is going to seem tame.
