Any recent news about Red Sage, by chance? Anyone published by them?

I'm thinking about sending them a novella, but I've been out of Romance for several years.

Thanks!

Thanks, MRJ. I knew that. Red Sage was one of the first Erotic Romance publishers out there. My novella fits that.

I was just looking for a little personal experience, if anyone has it.

I see their Secrets anthologies in bookstores but not their novels, they have a relatively new ebook imprint. That is all I know.

Red Sage Press?

Anyone ever dealt with the E-book publisher Red Sage Press? I sent them a completed MS a while ago and I got a strange reply. Anyone else have information about them?

Looked for a link, but only found Red Sage Publishing. Is that the right one?

http://www.redsagepub.com/

If it is, their site is aimed toward readers--that's a good sign. Their website seems to be well proofread and free of the kind of typos and grammatical errors that plague some epublisher websites--that's a good sign. Their distribution page I'm a little unclear on. Could someone with more extensive knowledge take a look at that?

Red sage was print first (best known for the Secrets anthologies), then started a digital imprint. I am sure we must have threads about them already.

FWIW, they lost my submission three times. I asked what the status was twice and didn't bother after the third loss.

They used to be a really respectable publisher. I think they've slipped a bit.

I have a friend who has published a few things with them. She seemed quite happy with them, but that was a while back. I've no idea if she's still happy with them.

They take out some mighty big ads in the RWA newsletters. That's how I heard about them.

Hi,

I would love some additional information regarding them, especially about how the contract process works. I didn't see a lot of info on their site about the terms. Any red flags with them? Thanks for your help!
