Any fans of British horror author Ramsey Campbell out there?

I'm just reading his latest - The Grin of the Dark - and it's pretty good so far. Very hard to read initially, but once I got into it, found it quite gripping.

I've been a big fan of RCs for -many- years... good to see him getting some new book deals... he was in the doldrums there for a while.

My personal faves of his novels are Incarnate and The Face that Must Die. As for his short stories... they're all just brilliant.

He's pretty chatty online too and can often be found on Usenet at alt.books.ghost.fiction or alt.horror.cthulhu

The Grin in the Dark made me feel like I'm losing my mind, once the atmosphere pile-on passed a certain threshold:D
