Hi all,
Does anyone here have a good grasp of Arabic? A native speaker would be excellent . . .
Anyway, I have a character in my WiP who has a "named" weapon. Translated into English, the name of his sword is "Hammer of the Infidel"; the nearest I can get with my Arabic for Travelers dictionary is "Shakush al-Kafir", but I don't know if this would be correct or not (I tried writing it out as "Shakush'l-Kafir", too, but it doesn't look quite right to my eye). Any suggestions?
Also, how would one say "I banish thee (you)" in Arabic (preferably the Syrian or Egyptian dialects)?
Thanks in advance!
Scott
