*whistles* Oh, little undead doggie...

As a backup plan: *researches what sheep like to eat*

I got about 250 words written yesterday on The Midnight Box. I sould get at least that many x2 written on Gated tomorrow morning (no time today between slipping and sliding on the ice - maybe tonight after everyone goes to bed).

Greg you need more output...or else.

Hugs and pushups,

Goals:

  • 2k new words
Accomplishments: Approx. 3,300 words
  • Sticks and Stones and Brittle Bones - short - added 300 words
  • Play, Pray, Prey (working title) - unfinished short - 600 words
  • Paper Tigers (WIP) - 1,400 words
  • Received 1 short story rejection
  • Sent out 1 short story sub
  • Ink update:One agent asked if I would be willing to do some surgery on the pacing in the middle section of the MS. He said "Tighten that up, and I feel confident I'd be willing to proceed." So, I ended up deleting about 6k and adding about 1k new words. I sent the newly revised version (which I'm very happy with) off to him yesterday; he's going to reread it and let me know in about a week or so. Keep your fingers crossed for me please.
Goals for this week:

  • 4k new words
Dg as usual an awesome on the output and goals. Keep it up. You get a monkey, a sheep, and dog to rough up ...

Hugs and pushups,

Tigress Tyrant

Again, nothing ...

I believe it is time to start getting drunk with Dionysus...

A vostre sanitate :e2drunk:
Well needless to say I am a bit let down....so as a punishment I am locking you in a room with this guy until you get some writing done.

A few hundred words on the outline for Book 2.

Lots of present-wrapping, unwrapping, cooking, and eating.

I am taking back your present....unless I get more output...

Hugs and pushups,

Tigress Tyrant

Let's see...my goal from this last week was 500 words, I think.
I got that (plus another 500) in revisions on my Dec. Prompt story.

This week--hmm. I'm aiming for a revise on 2 other shorts, with a word count goal of 1000 between the two of them.

The rest of the time I will be researching editing methods to take a stab at editing/revising novel no. 2 in Jan.

Good job Soap! Keep it up!
You get a cookie, a kitty, and 20 roundhouses to use on the sheep
horror hound of your choice.

Hugs and pushups,

Tigress Tyrant

I had to go back and check from last week to get the details right:

yeah, that was it.

(Well, after a certain someone tinkered with it)

I got that accomplished, if we're generous with what we term "new" words and where they are. But hey, it was the holidays, and then I had to spend the day navigating the wilds of Pittsburgh around the airport.

Going to be a little more specific this week with the goals: dusting off an old short that's going in a new direction, tentatively titled "Bob, The Avenging Angel"; there's the prompt story that's been kicking around in my head, tentatively working under "Do Vampires Dream of Plasma Sheep?"; and a poem about a not so jolly version of Santa Claus "All I Want For Christmas." I figure if I title them they're more likely to get done and then subbed. Plus a K or two of words someplace on one of the WIPs.

Good job Boston!!!! as a reward you get a lovely pic...

I think I said I'd write 500 new words.

Yeah--Didn't quite make it.

I did finish editing Delicious but that's about it.

Tossed a bunch of ideas around in my head for Telepathy but punched too many holes in them and ended up not keeping any of them.

Goals for next week -- kids and Mr. D will still be home, so, keeping that in mind -- let's say 500 again on existing wip(s).

Laurie,

I need more output young lady or I will make you hang out with someone and hear swim suit stories....

Sleep... Those little slices of Death. How I loath
I have accomplished the main part of my goal--I survived three operations in five days. Oh Boy! Material for future works! I didn't get more than maybe 250 words this past week, but hell----

So this weeks goal is to polish the story I did finish and get it into submittable shape. I may get discharged tomorrow, hopin', hopin', hopin'!
