what's a teabag caddy?

I know what a tea cozy is -that's the thing that goes around the pot, right? But a teabag caddy?

and.... goals.

I do believe someone set them for me at 500 words of anything. I accomplished quite a bit more than that, but mostly by finally updating a memory project I've been working on. On which I am now caught up for all of 2006.

(ok, so it's a bit behind. This is me. If it was caught up and on time people would think I've been replaced by aliens or vegetable spores.)

For this week - the WIP is flowing again, which in and of itself is a holiday miracle. So I think a 1000 words on that is doable.

Also, I think, finally, I've had enough people tell me I ought to do this to where I'm actually starting to believe it, so I suppose it's time to start looking into what agents I might want to query. *shudders* I don't think I'm ready for this. I kind of miss the days where I was young and naive and just sent my manuscript off to the publishers directly, never to be heard from again.

:D

Good luck with the agents Boston:) You can do your word count. If you meet your goal I will give a well armed ex-nun and a werewolf.

I've gotten in 1,000 words on Fire Opal this week. Which is better than 1,000 words in a month..fer shure!

but I doubt I'll finish by Christmas.

:::Sigh:::

Lady Jay,
I am happy to see you reporting regular. Writing regular, major cool!

Good luck battling the evils of xmas and distractions...like mortgage, utilities and a wholesale garden gnome business.
I am glad to see the bow and arrow set I got you didn't go to waste. Poor Boston I knew him well...

Output--kicked ass. I finished Nano!!!

Came in at just over 50k. Probably 15K of it was done this last week.

And--finished and posted my Nov. prompt story : Beneath the Slipcover, 3k.
And--started the Dec. prompt. Words?--probably 1000 or so. Hard to say, it’s handwritten right now, most of which I will probably cut anyway. I am trying to get a feel for my MC and so I am just letting him just ramble for now while I figure him out.
I am the same:) I love to let the characters go...and find there voice.

Goals:
Keep working with Dec. prompt MC and firm up his intents/personality etc.
Then get at least 500 solid words reflective of this. (I know--it's a small goal,
but I have to get some pay the bills work done after totally slacking to do Nano.)

Way to go Soap on nano! I skipped your post some how? For punishment I will talk to the garden gnome about his life guard experience...shudders. Money sucks when you don't have it. Life is full of bills and annoying relatives and more so in December. Good luck on your goals!

Thank goodness!!!!!

yes...and he will tell you about it if you ask in detail But whatever you do...don't ask him about...nevermind....he'll probably tell you anyway;)

yes, Boston was a lifeguard. :wag:

Long time ago. LONG time ago. Star Wars long long time ago, even
LOL
Great--Now I am picturing a camel in a speedo.

Wait--a sheep in a speedo.
No--a gnome in a speedo.
*snort*

Oh never mind....speedos are probably swim team anyway, not lifeguard.

did that, too

and yes, as a lifeguard you generally don't wear a speedo. Which, for the record are terribly uncomfortable and not something I'd wear by choice. :D

LOL--speedos--yes, have heard they aren’t much fun. My DH was actually a lifeguard and swim coach when I met him. Then he started playing water polo. *sigh* To this day the smell of chlorine takes me back…:LilLove:

Be back later, I think I just gave myself a story idea...
*leaves to find bottle of chlorine bleach*
