Step lively there if you insist
I can't stop well in all of this
Your control is better than mine
on icy streets in winter time.

Cars are coming I can't always stop
please look up and down the block
and realise just how quick you are
compared to my big sliding car.

Be alert. Be safe.
Don't make other's live
with the horror of your stupidity.

Arrogant bastard,
road raging thrives!
Warning signs plastered,
gamboling lives.

You with your hand up,
no right of way,
You with your warm cup,
weather at bay.

No longer distant,
emotions rise.
Changed in an instant,
ignoring size.

Age full of lost tact,
cell phones and crowds.
Each unacknowledged act,
next meeting's doubts.

Snow days
pearly, frothy,
glaring, wearing, tearing,
worn treads gripping slushy snowdrifts
slow trek

Crossing streets of danger,
I'm the Ice Queen.
Walking past all warnings
I am the one who rules.
Danger or success?
Mastery or graceful falling -
I'm the one who tries
when others give up the game.

Damn this twice-cursed ice:
I seem to be always down,
or traveling there.

I am the ice
you slide upon
my life may be short
but powerful.

"Chill, Stop!" I say
God give me more time on this ice!
Thoughtless driven speeding car reveals delay
By my pounding heart and steps for traction
I slide and dive free by my own device.

until death do us part

is but my hand I gave to thee,
to trust and hope for eternity;

and now my hand in finality,
I give that you might spare me.

A most amazing thing
happened to me;
I was crossing the street
and a car stopped for me.

So kind was the
driver that I said
to the man,
fast as I can.

I know that I'm
walking and
using your time
but I'm hurrying
for an event
that will be quite
divine."
