Does anyone know what weight of paper dust jackets are usually printed on? I realize there is probably not a "standard" I'm just curious what is typically used on hardcovers you'd find in the new releases section of Barnes and Noble? 28lb, 32lb, 36lb, 48??
Also, I believe the dust jacket for the last Harry Potter book is printed on matte paper, but it has a much different feel than matte paper you can pick up at Office Depot or Best Buy. Is there a process that the paper goes through aftert the image is printed? What about glossy covers, is there a process they go through?
