Ja Ja Ding Dong.

It keeps playing in my head since watching the very cute 'Story of Fire Saga.'

My head's been flip-flopping between Ja Ja Ding Dong and Double Trouble.

Since I rewatched it yesterday, I'll add that Volcano Man and Husvik are rattling around in there too. Double Trouble's still the jam.

Help myself - Maggie Rose

"Diagnosed myself with the Internet,
minor aches and pains, death is imminent
Got a twitch in my eye might be permanant
Got a cure for it? I need a cure for it.

I buy self help books and call it therapy,
Found a quote that can calm your anxiety,
If you can find the time, read it back to me,
Might be the one I need, might be the one I need

You should try a hypnotist
see a guru
gotta do this new cleanse
that shit's voodoo

Maybe, we're all just out of our minds,
one step away from fine and dandy, pills and candy,
Gotta cut straight to the happy ending
Maybe, we're we're all just out of our heads,
Despite what the experts said
I'm only here to help
I just can't help myself...."

My pandemic anthem

I'm writing a fantasy and TheFatRat has songs on YouTube that remind me of fantasy. Fly Away (featuring Anjulie) is what I'm listening to this very second.

Alanis Morissette has recorded an at home version of Thank U, and I am captivated.

I didn't like the song when it came out (or any of her music until Under Rug Swept, actually), but seeing an older, matured and confident Alanis singing it with heart bas touched me. Plus, with her current plain-person look, she hadn't sold herself out to her own brand, and has given herself, and by extension her fans, permission to grow into the people we will become on our journeys to becoming even newer people in the future. I've watched other interviews with her since, and she's someone I'd love to have coffee with for an afternoon.

I wrote a pretty killer haiku in the chain thread and decided to listen to Primal Scream's "Come Together", which I'm going to do for a second time.

Any form of City Pop really helps me write, somehow. It's calming yet exciting, so I pump a lot of words out while maintaining my mindfulness.
