Odd, unkempt, bizarre, even frightening, she heard them all from the sailors visiting the docks of Ash-Moore. They were just small minded. Bridgette was the only one who understood her, and that was why she diligently sewed to reconstitute her love, humming the shanty they’d shared before the disastrous shipwreck.

The final candidate was a brazen mix of next-level flirt and unadulterated narcissist. An aura that commanded attention and teased you for giving it. The interview panel fanned themselves and discreetly marked "no" on his sheet, but we needed him. Someone to unsettle our enemies.

I drew the next “Would You Rather…?” card for my team:
A. Die from a sky dive accident or a cage match fight?
B. Eat tangerines or clementines
C. Only go number one or number two?

I selected choice C.

The caroler team was barely visible, and Tom had to chew on that one for a bit. Had the outside outlet gone bad? Nonetheless, he welcomed them in a gracious manner, even though he actually cared far less about their performance than being a good neighbor.
