Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere (I haven't scoured the site), and ignore this thread if it has, but is everyone now aware that HarperCollins has fired Judith Regan, would-be publisher of O.J. Simpson's book? The announcement was terse and didn't cite a specific reason, just that her employment with HarperCollins has been terminated.

It's the first I've heard of it. Great gusts of Schadenfreude leap up within me...
I just read somewhere that people like to divulge bad news just before the weekend, in the hope that by Monday it's old hat. This seems to be a case of that.
