Was my "Cluepon" a bad post?

So, am I getting Mac's drift right? She believes my "Cluepon" to Dave was in poor taste?

My post was meant as a friendly joke. I did not mean any insult.

I am sorry if it was perceived that way. It was meant to be funny.

I like Dave. Dave is my friend.

So, what you're saying is that you didn't see it. I wish that you had. It was a picture of a "coupon" that said "Cluepon." I gave it to Dave. He had posted a bad joke. It listed how I was giving Dave a clue.

I thought it was funny.

Maybe it wasn't.

If I'm understanding you, Sporky, you're feeling concerned that you might not know why a particular post was deleted, right? I have to admit that I think I saw the cluepon post and did not immediately understand what you meant by it. Did you spell it "clupon" in the original?

Now that I get it, I too think it was a hilarious response, however not one that immediately helps or otherwise benefits the conversation. Since I can't remember what the hell I was talking about to earn such a smackback, though, I could be way off base here.

MODS, for the record, Sporky and I have a long, cherished history of joint mutilation and inyourendo. Please forgive him his trespasses while I go look for my shotgun. Thank you.
