Hello fabulous other YA'ers
I thought I’d just jump in. I have been actively writing erotica novels for a couple of years, but before that, for 5 years now, I have been writing 'installments' of a story of a young adventurer which I would send to my cousins while I was out of the country.
I always figured that the people writing YA, which I still love to read because often it is much better than the stuff that is out there and marketed for adults, were people with PhD's in child psychology.
Planning to avoid being force fed hemlock for corrupting the youth I never thought seriously about trying to write a YA book; however one of the cousins I wrote it for asked me to compile all the installments into one book for her, and that got me thinking.
So, I have cheerfully decided I am at least going to write it even if I never try to sell it the way I do with my others.
