2021-5 Character Development - Needs & Wants

Beginning in week 5 we begin our work on character development. One key to great stories is well rounded characters that leap off the page with a story that bleeds beyond the pages. To tell that story, I personally like to ensure that my characters have needs and wants. They are sometimes the same, but often they are different. Needs and wants provide motivation. That motivation is the frame we hang the plot on.
