Greetings fellow writers,
I go by FaceSigma online, I've been writing for the better part of my life on and off. Although I went to college to get a bachelors degree in creative writing, I dropped out after a year and never went back. Now I'm running a construction company and want to pick up where I left off in my writing journey and get back to the grind. I've learned so much over the past few months reading and writing in different genres. I'm definitely primarily a fantasy writer but I'm going to test the waters in other areas of fiction like mystery and thriller. I just finished reading Burning God by RF Kuang and I'm not sure what I'm moving onto next. That trilogy was heavy. Some other authors I've read in the past year are Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie, Patrick Rothfuss, Lee Child (Jack Reacher) and Jim Butcher. I'm looking for a writing group, too. Not sure if people organize those kinds of things here. I look forward to chatting with people on the boards here and learning more. Pleased to meet you all!
