I don’t have a notebook addiction ...

I have a notebook solution!
What I write: so far I have a children’s book I’ve rewritten 9 times and am lost in, a world in progress for YA, and a short story which is a retelling, for adults. Because I’m a newbie! That’s why.

I love to read... mysteries and thrillers, mangas, but then after that it’s very eclectic. One of my faves is Mathilda by Dahl, I’ve read hundreds of business books, I’m reading “numbers”, current manga is Demon Slayers

Education is in linguistics but I wish I were better at many aspects of it. Writing voices does not come easily. At all.

My areas of expertise - had a wedding photo business for over a decade. Lived in France for multiple decades. Know way more about tech than I’d like to admit. And love fountain pens, paper, inks, although I’m far from a true expert. Also an art fan, in particular Impressionism.

I’m open to being a beta reader, I’ve beta read a sci-fi novel. I have listened to Sanderson’s 318R which I hope will make me a better partner.

Eager to be reading about other people’s torture! You know, this thing about misery...

It was in the original: “Ding dong! The witch is dead” but got swapped back last minute because one of the actors couldn’t properly pronounce “Sphynge”. Go figure.
