We're already two-thirds of the way through New Year's Day in eastern Australia and it's looking quite good so far. At least, it's not 2020 any more.

Yay! It's almost midnight here, 2021 starts in an hour and a half.

I can't believe we've been in isolation a whole year! The vaccine is rolling out slowly here and I'm not sure why. But it is rolling out! And Trump is almost gone save for a couple of last gasps.

Yes, this forum is part of my New Year's resolution.
My social circle has atrophied to the point where I may as well cut ties and start growing another. We are social creatures and I suspect forums may give us some much needed conversation.
I'm on my fourth quarantine right now and I've yet to test positive...just trying to be respectful and considerate to the rest of the folks in my office.
I am really looking forward to a change of pace from last year. I like my house but this self-imposed house arrest is getting to me.
Anyways, best wishes to everyone in the trenches of life right now and may this year shed some much needed joy for us all.
