Gingerbread monolith appears on San Francisco hilltop, then collapses

The Guardian said:
Like the other monoliths that have mysteriously appeared across America and the world in the waning weeks of 2020, the one that popped up on a California hilltop on Christmas Day seemed to come out of nowhere.

Also like the others, it was tall, three-sided and it rapidly attracted crowds of curious visitors before an untimely destruction.

Unlike the others, this monolith was made of … gingerbread.

When that first monolith appeared someone mentioned that it's probably "some dumb viral marketing stunt for a Hulu Original show" and I haven't stopped thinking about it every time a new one pops up. Except for this one in SF, because it is so timely and funny, and way easier to remove.

I would put more stock in the idea it is viral marketing if it hadn't sat there for years in Utah before anyone discovered it.

I raise a glass of egg nog at the people who put up the gingerbread monolith. BRAVO!
