Kandisha Press is relatively new, having only started publishing this last year with a Women of Horror line as well as being female-run. It seems like a good premise but from looking at their submission/acceptance statistics on both Duotrope and Submission Grinder, it looks like they have a 100% acceptance rate. Per their own website they pay a royalty split that doesn't mention the ratio between the publisher and the authors. They also announced in acceptances to several people I know that due to an overwhelming amount of submissions, they are accepting stories for multiple future volumes but will be choosing what book goes where by a lottery. That indicates that the books will no longer be themed (they've previously been stories set in graveyards and female monsters as well as this current call of women who got away) but be a random selection of stories that may not match in theme or tone. As far as the 100% rate goes, I'm concerned about quality control if it seems like they're accepting most stories sent to them. Has anyone else had any previous dealings with them?
