I'm looking forward to crossing 50k tomorrow, but the story goes on... (I'm guessing it'll be finished around 85-90k.)

BenPaced, congrats on your perfect score! I've only missed completing NaNo once of the years I've participated.

Everyone is doing great!

Not sure whether this counts for the word count: I had a final edit meeting with my proof-reader last Friday, so my first novel is now considered ready to go onto Kindle Self Publishing. It ticked off at 51015 words.

Woohoo BenPanced, that's quite a streak!! I'm only striving for 5 for 5 this year, myself, ha. And passed 40k today, right on track!

I may write a little more tomorrow, since NaNo's validator doesn't usually match Scrivener's word count, but basically, I'm done.

I like the end. The beginning and the middle are a lot muddier, but I like the end.

Somehow, between the Thanksgiving holiday today and not being able to get comfortable in my bedroom writing nest, I cranked out today's. Of course, writing several rounds of introductions between characters and spacing them out so not everybody is present at the same time helps, I'm sure.

As expected, I had a few days of nearly nothing and actually nothing this week, but I managed to fully recover today, so yay! And if I can get myself in the groove to do the same thing tomorrow (ideal since my husband's birthday is Monday and it would be good to actually be able to spend time with him rather than buried myself in deadline stress) I can get there.
Congrats to all crossing that finish line already! :hooray:

Woo! I'm not sure I've ever actually finished a day early before, ha. It is in no way a complete story, more like a handful of episodes that could add up to a story some day, but I still like most of what I've got so far.

Phew. Not far from the end either, really, so maybe will get that done during December.

I have emerged from my writing bunker. The sun burns my skin now....

Final word count: 95,293.

I think there's potential in here, but I'll have to come back to it in a month. Like the cottage cheese that gets stuck in the back of the fridge until you can no longer ignore the smell. And I'm sure it'll look about as appetizing.

Yay Tamlyn! And good job to everybody!
I am looking forward to actually sitting and reading one of the many books I've put aside in the last couple weeks to focus on the frenzy of writing. Poor piles of books, they must be so lonely... read me, read me! :Hug2:

Yay for the end of the month and some massive numbers there (wow, armgrab). But also yay to the people who maybe didn't make it to 50k for still making some words!
