First Line of NaNo 2020

I was just deciding how bold I wanted to go with my lipstick when my phone rang.

I'm not participating in NaNo this year (no, that's not my first line), but I am loving these! So much potential in each one of them. My mind can't help but carry the story forward and imagine what's next.
