My wife and kids are making me an awesome dinner, and we're all going to hang out together, maybe play some board games. I'm taking tomorrow off work, so when I'm done this evening, it's my weekend.

I'm kind of a low-key birthday guy. I've got a socially distanced pizza lunch with my mom tomorrow, and otherwise I'm just going to enjoy my people. Maybe go kayaking if the weather holds.

I celebrated hard yesterday when I became 79 and four months old. Just eight months to the big 8-0!

When you get to be my age, you're back to stating age by months like babies: "Chase's so cute. He's only 952 months."
