To all those following or submitting in E-SYW, I've already shared that I've been working on what we'll do next year. I think I've landed on 52 themes for the 52 weeks. We will still be voting on the prompts to fit the theme, unless you'd all like to use the time to work on something individual for each week and work on the areas of focus. The first weekend in October is super early to preview the practice threads that won't start until the first Friday in January, but I want to be sure that I've got a good list and have a little runway to write up each week's objectives.

My goal is to work on my writing, with you, but this is practice for me done publicly. When I was a teenager Coach always said, "You play like you practice." As such, it's important to practice, and a planned routine will ensure that we cover the bases. So, without further ado, here's the list.

Please let me know if you think these cover the bases for a good year's worth of practice threads. Don't hesitate to tell me I'm full of shit, should add something, or take something away. I'm easy that way. If you aren't an denizen of SYW, feel free to come on in to play, or take the threads and run your own practice group in one of the other SYW threads.

Again, feedback welcome, and I would love to have as many writing along with me as possible, so join up.

Looks like a pretty great list to me, Ink! Lots of variety, lots of different angles to think about story. As you know, I'm not much of a one for writing exercises, but I'll be interested to watch how these play out. Might even try dipping my toes in occasionally!
