I recently landed a query review with an agent on my query list. They only had a few suggestions for my query (mostly formatting to highlight what they called "wildly funny and punchy lines") and ended it with "I bet you're gonna get a lot of bites on this one!"
Ought I interpret this as a) Neutral; b) "I like it. Please officially query me"; or c) "It will hopefully be successful with someone else"?
In my mind, I thought of this as a query consult at a writing conference where, if they liked it, the agent would straight up ask for more. As they didn't, I assumed it was a pass, but while obsessively staring at my inbox waiting for other query responses I wondered if maybe I misinterpreted.
