We bought this Scandinavian rocker about forty years ago and had its cushions professionally reupholstered once. I wasn't real pleased with the job the guy did and told myself that next time, I'd just do it myself.
Little did I know you can't just buy a seat cushion you can cut to size. The closest I could come was deep enough that the simple envelope-that-zips design wouldn't work, and I had to make a three-dimensional cover. And had to cover the cushion with sheeting or no force on earth was getting it inside that cover.
It's not perfect, but I'm satisfied. I've been telling myself I should make a second cover while I remember what I learned botching this one and having to redo parts of it.
