Drunk on nostalgia
.....they stagger and lurch
.....into an uncertain
.....curve of the earth

to land on their knees
at the feet of their idols
and cry out the
lies of the blind.

What I've missed most about your poetry since I've been absent is the surprise I feel when I find out how easily it flows. It's like I should have known how it would go but I'm nearly breathless that it did.

I dig the poem Haskins.

Are you looking for feedback or it was just to share? Would just like to say something.

I'm new to the poetry world, and sometime simply don't understand the point of the poet. Can you help me understand what is being said here, and how to untangle the meaning? The cadence moves me along, but in this case, I simply don't know who exactly the poet is talking about or how to discern for myself.
