Hi Everyone!
I discovered this magical place yesterday and had to join.
You can call me Sundry, although I will probably end up saying my name at some point, but I need some time.
I come from Eastern Europe, but currently reside in Australia for my Creative Writing and Editing studies.
I'm a '90s kid. There is a cute story in my family about my writing beginnings. Apparently, when I was 3yrs old my mom found me reciting a poem, and wrote it down. Of course, my serious writing began much later, in my teen years. Now I am seriously serious about it, and I realise I need some writing friends, so we can help each other progress.
I mainly write speculative fiction: fantasy, magical realism, more recently SF. I also enjoy reading these genres the most, plus horror, which I'm not yet able to write. That is sort of a challenge I have with myself.
Authors I enjoyed reading: Ursula K. Le Guin, Carlos Ruiz Zafon (may he rest in peace), Tolstoy, and many others (most of them Eastern European).
I love reading works of others, so I am a willing beta reader and I do general constructive critique. As I don't have a finished novel manuscript yet (there are 4 pending; I know, I'm a starter, but can't seem to finish), I can offer short fiction for reading.
My hobby is gaming, though I love drawing when the mood strikes.
There you go, intro done!
Talk to you soon.
Love,
Sundry
