My name is Chase! I've been writing since the early 00's and have done a bunch of different jobs that have helped me with the craft, like working on printing presses and in libraries, marketing bookstores, and doing all sorts of writing, though fiction is really my passion. I've been published in a few fan zines along with a conbook and want to keep going.
I like to write speculative fiction, especially fantasy. I've been reading a lot of nonfiction books lately and really enjoy things that are tangential to my life, such as Bad Blood about Theranos and Super Pumped about Uber; it's always wild to see people you or your friends know as minor "characters" in such a grand story.
I'm queer (he/they pronouns) and that shows up in a lot of my work. I also usually end up being the resident bird expert, so feel free to hit me up with them bird questions (even dinosaurs!). Non-word stuff I like to do include playing video games, discussing tv/movies with friends, cooking/baking, birding and plastic model kits (Zoids specifically, if that means anything to anyone!).
