Hello all. Thanks for viewing.

I came across this fantasy creature about a year ago, and I cannot recall the name of it. All I have to describe it is a picture of Dolores O'Riordan (lead singer of the Cranberries) in the "Promises" video.

I remember seeing many images on a Google Images search of this character type. It seemed fairly well known.

Character....

Corporeal (I believe)
Female
Pale Skin
Black around the eyes.

I don't know if it is a horror character, fantasy character, or something else. I believe it is popular around Halloween as a costume.

Does anyone know?

It's not a Banshee or a Succubus.

Not a siren. Not a water creature. Human in form. Hangs out in dark, natural environments.

An elf? Dark elf? Because if you google "Define dark elf" a sort of similar picture pops up.

These creatures are from Nowergien mythology. Not much come up on them, but maybe it's similar:

Svartálfar

Dǫkkálfar

I don't read much fantasy, but this was an interesting question, so I'm not sure if I'm much help.

None of the aforementioned. I think I will go with something else. I cannot locate the character / creature type anymore.

Thank you to everyone who offered suggestions. Cheers!

It might be Pris, from Bladerunner?

Pris looks really close. I will research the character and see what I can find. It was a general character, not a named one, so Pris is not it. But she is VERY close. Thank you!

A lamia or a succubus might be kind of what you're describing.

I never found the character / creature. I opted to make the character a dhampir.

Not a lamia either.

Thanks all!
