Never let it be said that the great, brooding presence in the Oval Office isn't willing to experiment on himself. Evidently, he's been taking hydroxychloroquine for the past week and a half, in spite of their being zero evidence it does any good at treating or preventing Covid-19 and their being ample evidence of its risks. It's not mainlining bleach or disinfectants, at least, but this is still a rather terrible example to set, given that at least one person has already killed themselves taking a form of this drug with no medical supervision at all.

The timing coincides with the first pair of coronavirus cases in the West Wing — on May 7, the president’s personal valet tested positive for coronavirus, and just days later Vice President Mike Pence’s top spokesperson tested positive, as well.
