MODS, please feel free to redirect if I have missed an existing thread.

I've been wondering if this is a particularly bad time to be sending queries to literary agents.

If already planned releases are being held back due to the current conditions, I can imagine quite a backlog building.

(I don't know this to be the case.)

Are agents still reading?

Any thoughts?

Why not?

It's as good a time as any to submit.

Agents are always on the lookout for good publishable material.

Good luck.

Re the backlog situation - keep in mind that there may be cases where content means the intended publication may no longer be suitable in the current situation.

Not where you last saw me.
Yeah, I probably could have sent the thread to Ask the Agent just as well. AW Admin will move it if she sees fit.

Thanks, Noranne.

The thread you provided exactly speaks to my question.
