In these times, when all literary events had been cancelled for several months (since March till God knows when), some writers have moved their book launchings online. And I am asking how, because I am not sure it had ever been done so in my country. I have always attended only book launchings in person, and all my books which had one, had it in person, for 2 hours or 2 hours and a half, with various critics speaking about the book, with an actress reading a fragment or two, sometimes also with musical interludes matching the book subject. Then, they were followed by a glass of champagne in the protocol room.
I am thinking about organising a book launching online, but I am not sure how to do it. Any ideas? And can it give me new readers, or would it be only for the already fans to see it?
