What is the best way to get free electronic copies of your novel into readers' hands?
It's been awhile since I've self-published and I have something in the hopper that I just want to get out to new readers.

I've self-published before. I've also published with some of the big houses (Simon & Schuster, Random House) and a bunch of smaller ones.

I appreciate any advice!
Thank you!

First question, are they formatted? If not then you need to format your book to epub, mobi or both. You can do this for free by using Calibre or even Draft2Digital.

Different ways you can send:

Just email copies to individuals.

You can join sites like BookFunnel (not free) and StoryOrigin (free) and you can send copies to people including everyone on your mailing list.

The major way of course is to upload your books to all retailers and set to free on retailers outside Amazon, then email Amazon to price match. This is how you make books free for the general public.
