I'm new to the freelance world and trying to figure out a price estimate for writing a business plan for a client. I'm still in the information gathering phase, but I was wondering if others have had experience writing business plans for clients and what you may have charged. I'm anticipating the whole project to be about 10-20 pages with possibly some minimal background reading/research. I've set my hourly rate to $75 but would likely provide a fixed rate for the project. I'm thinking $1,000-1,500 (but not sure if this is too low?). I would love to hear how others have handled similar projects!

As far as I know, writing business plans is one of the most common types of freelancing. Therefore, the market is crowded. It follows from this that only if you are a highly qualified specialist, you can count on a good income. This applies to absolutely all areas of activity, but especially to freelancing. Because there are really a lot of them now. I entered freelancing on a forced basis, so I first of all studied special sites, because at that time I need money now. It's good that I approached this wisely.
