*cheers all progress*

Welp, the first half of the week has been filled with catch-up from my holiday, so today was my first full day of writing since getting back. Got only a handful of words down but I did review the 10k I wrote while I was away, and I'm pleased to report it's not dreck. Which is nice. Now I just need to figure out this plot point and stop the overwhelming fear that none of this will ever go back to how it was before, and I'm in business!

Well done to everyone who has made some progress in these difficult times.

I've managed to get some editing done amid the clamour and chaos of the pandemic. With everything going on, I am finding it difficult to stay focused on my WIP and not think about the apocalyptic thriller I appear to be living! (although once I immerse myself, I definitely feel better).

Hope everyone is well, physically and mentally. We all need to try and hold on until there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you for the encouragement!

I wrote 380 words last night on The Vanishing but have since realized that I made a wrong turn and will need to scrap them. Buy hey, I'm almost to 50k!

Well done all! Cindyt, you are an inspiration.

I had a more productive day yesterday, thanks to sticking to a schedule. Not sure I can duplicate that today - it's Grocery Day, which is tweaking my anxiety a bit. But I am starting to dig into they whys of what I'm writing, so that's something.

Hi all!
I'm new to the group and looking for some accountability. I've been outlining some short stories, trying to flesh out my world building in an interesting way.

:hi: Welcome booksnbrains! Accountability is what this thread's all about.

*cheers everyone's progress*

I had my first productive day since in about two weeks and clocked in a little over 1,500 words. The end is really in sight now - only six chapters left in the outline. There is a shred of hope I'll get it done by the end of April, which is about four months later than I'd originally hoped, but right now I'm just glad to have something else to focus on, you know?

Hadn't written for a week, but yesterday I got in a couple hundred words. Still having trouble sticking to a schedule - Hubs and I were working on enclosing my vegetable gardens to protect from deer, but now that Quarantine Project is finished. I'm going to try to do better for the balance of the month.

:hi:booksnbrains! Welcome!

The world is so weird. How is everybody doing?

My output has been sporadic. Some days I write like mad. Other days I can't focus for more than four seconds, and I get nothing.

Yesterday was good, although 1200 of the 2000 words I wrote were for a the book that comes after this one. (In my defense, the next book is the end of the series, so I was kind of writing the Big Ending for all of it.) Today I'm already at 1700 (on the right book :)), and I'm not done yet. Ignoring the news helps. :)

Hang in there, everybody. I am thinking of you all.

Managed to find a little motivation from somewhere and do some editing, although it's not exactly easy to do at the moment!

Trying to work in short bursts and fit in tasks and chores in between. I just don't know I don't want to spend the whole day on the sofa watching tv.

Hope everyone is having a productive weekend!

Welcome booksnbrains, how's the world building going?

Month is just about over. Everyone happy with their progress? Meeting goals? I didn't set any :)
I hit 41k total word count today. Moving ahead slowly, but moving ahead.
