Thanks all! The day was filled a good lunch at a South American restaurant, a good dessert at a French cafe, and a good peanut butter milkshake at an American burger joint later in the afternoon. A sunny day with our first real hint of a sustained spring weather.

Also, a nice booky gift card. I'm tempted to spend it on a book a saw a guy reading on the subway: A Frolic of His Own by William Gaddis. Anyone read it? It gets fairly good reviews on Goodreads and Amazon, but I've not heard of this author or this book. It might be a bit experimental for my taste, but I'd love any input from the folks here.
