I am not sure if this is where this goes, but I just submitted my novel to DAW's open call. I had previously self published it via Amazon, but a lack of marketing (among other things, I am sure) means it never got an traction. I don't expect much, but it was kind of a big deal for me to take the step to submit it after its "failure" (my wife HATES IT when I refer to it that way). So, here's to a few months of constant anxiety!
