Hi everyone,

I am very happy to have joined this forum!

I am French and British, living in Brussels. I work as a lawyer, which is actually quite helpful to learn how to structure clear (legal) text, edit it and get a draft ready within tight deadlines.

I've been writing on and off for about five years. I am currently working on my first novel (contemporary, realistic), but there is still some way to go. In the meantime I'll enjoy looking through the forum to get up to speed on many things, and maybe giving my two cents on some drafts as a beta reader.

These days I mostly read contemporary, realistic fiction like Jonathan Coe. I also enjoy Paul Auster and Kim Gordon's Girl in a band (an autobiography). I also read French authors (e.g. Maupassant, Flaubert, Laurent Binet etc.)

Looking forward to getting to know you.
