Buying an E-Book from Barnes & Noble Internationally?

I'm not sure if this is the right section, but my friend tried to buy my book and the site wouldn't allow her to put it in her cart. She's in Egypt and has a Samsung Note 8. What should she do?

How does she usually buy ebooks? I'm not familiar with B&N's system, but Amazon's is region-locked - if you're in the UK you have to buy from Amazon UK, etc. I suspect B&N is similar.

Er, I may be wrong, but I think Barnes and Noble's ebook market is only US now--they closed their UK one a few years back.

Do you have it for sale on Kobo? That's probably her best bet.

Yep, B&N only operates in the US. Your friend can buy from Apple, Kobo, or Google Play probably.

Go through US based VPN or proxy server. That's how I order things overseas.
