Is anyone familiar with the platforms for putting an audiobook out on the internet/maybe on Apple Books, and do you know of any that are suitable for putting one out that people can download for free?
I have a trad published novel that I retained the audio rights to & have made a full audio recording of, with each chapter as an MP3 file. With my publisher's agreement I plan to put it up for free on Librivox Audio, a collection of free public domain audiobooks (read by volunteers) which I've been downloading from for years. I started wondering if it's possible to cast a wider net and I did a little research, but a lot of the options out there for self-publishing audiobooks seem to be paid services which do the recording for you, etc. Does anyone know of a platform besides Librivox where you can simply upload your own recordings, for people to download for free?
Thanks so much!
