Hello to everyone and thank you for accepting me. I have no clue how this site works yet, but I will hopefully, slowly figure it out. My name is Gaynor, I live in Canada. I have written one book about the abuse my mom suffered from teachers in England, and I am writing a second one at the moment.

I'd love to help if i can, please feel free to guide me in this too. :)

Thank you

Welcome, fellow Canadian!

That seems like a pretty heavy topic for a book. Are you working directly with your mom, like a biography?

When it comes to using the site, regdog has a good list of the basics above. From my own experience, I will underline that whenever you go into a new forum or area, take a moment to look over the Stickies - these are always at the very top, and cover things like basic rules of the area, posting etiquette, and warnings against things that might be best suited to a different topic or location. Also, if you want to start a new thread asking a particular question, be sure to take a moment to run a search first, to see if anyone has recently asked a similar question that was already answered. I have found many instances of so many writers being in the same boat, and I end up finding just the answer I was looking for.
