I am looking for a beta-reader for a MG fantasy I've just finished revising. It's a story about a young American girl who moves to England with her family, accidentally frees a Bogle (a mischievous shape-shifting creature) and sets out to recapture it - with the complication that she has a very logical, no-nonsense view of the world (she's a big Sherlock Holmes fan and aspires to be a detective herself); handling somebody pretending to be the Bogle as part of a hoax would be just her kind of thing, but confronting a genuine Bogle, definitely not.
