I'm an American living in Australia and have been writing middle-grade children's books and short stories for adults.
I am new to forums and have joined mostly to help sort out all the cross-fertilizing info regarding self-publishing, use
of ISBNs with aggregators, U.S. Copyright law, formatting, book cover design — the whole enchilada, basically.

This seems a lively and helpful collective and I'm happy to have access to the water cooler.

What do you write? What interests you in that style/genre? Do you feel like you might want to be a Beta reader or critiquing partner one day? Do you do that now for any groups around where you live?
