Does anyone have any experience with this agency? I discovered them through a #MSWL tweet, but I didn't see them listed here. They are on QueryTracker though.

Jo is my agent. She's fast, funny, bright as anything and very supportive. Gives terrific editorial advice; reads and re-reads and re-re-reads. I love her to bits. Also her office is staffed with happy, clever people - which I think is a very good sign.

That's great to hear mccardey! She would be a long shot for me, since she only occasionally reps US writers, but when she reopens for queries I'm going to take that shot anyway, because I think the project I'm querying might be a good match for her. What's the harm in trying?

To be completely superficial, I think it would be pretty cool to be able to say, 'My agent, based in Somerset House.'! When I lived in London I walked past that place twice a day. Seriously impressive.
Not for nothing, but JULA is going to reopen for submissions Sept 1.
