Recovering lost posts.

About 15 minutes ago I lost a long line-by-line critique i was working on. it had taken over an hour to write. Then my computer froze. I was forced to do a hard restart, and my post, naturally, disappeared. I have noticed tat when I'm writing, an autosave message pops up from time to time. I was wondering if there is any way of recovering my lost post from autosave.

I have no idea, but I learned a long time ago to wait for a freeze-out to thaw if I’m working on something important.

If you immediately go back to that vBulletin page you should see an button at the bottom offering to restore autosave.

If you don't see one, try clicking the Reply button.

In general, if it's a long post, it's a good idea to compose offline in WordPad or another text editor.
