Hello, I am a late-comer to fiction writing. After spending a number of years playing about with ideas, I finally got serious about 3 years ago, and now I am consumed by twin monsters - a 6 volume fantasy erotic series, and a 5 volume futuristic series. I intend to self-publish, I have a complete draft of book 1 of the fantasy series, but then i read Terry Pratchett's comment that the first draft is simply you telling yourself the story, and now I have 53 work items to make draft 1 into draft 2. I also realized that I now have a Book 0 (i.e. a prequel). So now I am working on Book 0 and Book 2.
I intend to self-publish. I am definitely making a whole bunch of mistakes, but I hope to actually learn from them. I do have challenges with rejection, so I have to work through those. Right now, I am just in "hang out and absorb" mode.
