Learning the Ropes

Hello everyone, Bridgen here :hi:

I'm not good at introductions, so I'll keep this short and sweet. I've been lurking the site for sometime now and decided to join. I learned a lot from reading the threads here. Despite me having just started and not knowing the ins-and-outs of writing, I nonetheless hope to contribute to the discussions and learn from everyone here

I'm currently working on a fantasy short story. I see myself writing short stories in the meantime as I want to build experience and get away from essay-writing habits (they're a curse, I tell you.) I've yet to consider whether I'll submit my stories to fantasy magazines, but I'll leave that problem for future-Bridgen. Anyway, I'll be seeing you all around!

We all started there. I'm still there :ROFL:

If you want to be a writer all you need to do is write a lot and read a lot. That's what Stephen King said so I am going to follow that. Enjoy the forum.
