Final update. I very successfully did very little all month.
Indeed, I overachieved and did even less than I should have
I even missed a couple of reading days.
I didn't finish the story in the end, but I got a good way through it. I thought about finishing it on the Sunday, but then, well, didn't.
I finished up
Summer in Orcus, very much enjoyed it, and will take the author's word on why it's under her adult pen name. I was reading that on my surface and in between needed something I could read in the bath (definitely not the surface) so started
Pride and Prejudice. Then I couldn't not finish it once I started it! So all up I read six books, but not as many new ones as I'd wanted, and not any shorts.
Really, though, I won't know if this month succeeded in its aim (refreshing me, basically) until at least next month.
For baking, I made some mutant cupcakes that attempted to escape their tray, which were meant to have sprinkles through them, but they melted and just made them more sugary. Despite all this, they were pretty tasty. If I fix those issues, it'd be a good base for whenever I need just a basic vanilla cake mix.
1. Reach each day left in the month!
Nope.
2. Read five books.

3. Read a number of shorts.

4. Do some game planning.
Nooope.
5. Write a short story.
Almost finished!
6. Start Haven map/occupant list.
Vaguely.
7. Bake something.
Yeeees. Vanilla confetti cupcakes with leftover chocolate ganache.
