Hi guys I am basically new still, just lurk now and then. Anyway my name is Rafael I am a CS major, and I enjoy writing. I haven't finished yet a novel and am actually currently rewriting a novel I mentioned here like 5 years ago.

I like high fantasy and sci-fi, but I have found myself writing a lot of poetry as of late. I'm currently working on my fantasy novel and adding poems to my collection which I intend to publish at some point.

Greetings Scanner, I am writing sci-fi/fantasy myself. Do you incorporate your poems into your fantasy writing?

Welcome Scanner. I'm sure there is a lot of re-writing ahead for the rest of us too. I haven't read much poetry, ever, apart from the compulsory bits in my lit course at school. I look forward to reading some of yours and some of the other poetry here. I do love the poetry that makes up the lyrics of many songs I like. Perhaps there's hope for me yet.
